Real-Time Modem Connection Information

Modem connections are designed to automatically adjust their speeds depending on the current phone line conditions. A modem may connect at one speed, and shift down to compensate for problems on the line, or connect at a slower speed, and then shift up if conditions have improved.

This utility will allow you to view your current modem connection information directly from the dialup server you're on. This will tell you what speed you're currently at, and if your modem has had to change speeds. Currently, connection information is only available from specific cwis.net dialup POPs.
