Co., NC December 26, 1811. She was the daughter of John M. Hoover and Millicent Winslow. Elizabeth died
After 1860 in MO. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM PORTICE/PORTIS RESEARCHERS. Isham Portice/Portis and his family started
using the surname of Porter at least by 1860 when they were living in Missouri. Their descendents now I'm sure still use the Porter name.

Caroline M. PorticePortis was born in Randolph Co., NC October 12, 1843. Caroline died March 16, 1929
in McAlester, OK, at 85 years of age. She married twice. She married George Washington Hugueley in
Cooper Co., MO, July 29, 1866. George was born in Wilson Co., MO February 3, 1844. He was the son of
George W. Hugueley and Rachel Drennan. George died April 19, 1920 in Cross Timbers, Hickory Co., MO, buried in Jordan
C, at 76 years of age. (See George Washington Hugueley for the continuation of this line.) She married Thomas Jenson in Polk Co., MO, January 12, 1873. (See Thomas
Jenson for the continuation of this line.) Caroline did not begin using the Porter name until after 1860, along with other members of
her family.
