He married Rachel Brile in Randolph Co., NC, c 1770. Rachel was born in Orange, VA d 1750. She was the daughter of Conrad Brile and Margaret ???. Rachel died January 28, 1843 in Randolph Co., NC.

Jonas Hoover and Rachel Brile had the following children:

• 24 i. Elizabeth⁴ Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC c 1776. Elizabeth died October 15, 1850 in Wayne Co, IND. She married Valentine Frederick Waymire in Randolph Co., NC, c 1798.

• 25 ii. Andrew Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC c 1778. Andrew died 1852. He married Catherine Byerly in Randolph Co., NC, c 1800.

• + 26 iii. John M. Hoover was born c 1779.

• 27 iv. David Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC c 1783. He married Mary (Polly) ??? in Randolph Co., NC.

• 28 v. Nancy Ann Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC 1785. Nancy died 1840 in Hamilton Co., IND. She married Moses Aaron Mills in Randolph Co., NC.

• 29 vi. Hannah Rebecca Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC c 1790. She married ??? Hardister.

• 30 vii. Mary Margaret Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC February 2, 1795. Mary died April 6, 1879 at 84 years of age. She married Daniel Warren in Randolph Co., NC, November 4, 1812.

• 31 viii. Rachel Hoover was born in Randolph Co., NC May 1, 1801. Rachel died in Indiana. She married Miller Davis.
