47. John⁸ Triplett III (John⁷, John⁶, William⁵, William⁴, Frances³, Frances², Francis¹) was born in Iowa July 6, 1848. John died July 31, 1921 in Wilburton, OK, at 73 years of age.

He married four times. He married Mary Abbot in Van Buren, AR, 1868. Mary was burned to death when her son George was still small. She is buried in Dripping Springs, Arkansas.

Nothing is known of her family.

He married Eveline Brewer in Van Buren, AR, c 1873. He married Elizabeth Plummer in Crawford Co., AR, August 10, 1886. Elizabeth died 1893 in Briartown, I.T., OK. He married Mary Emeline Baker in OK, May 24, 1896.

• 60 vi. Mary Frances Triplett was born in Briartown, I.T., OK March 10, 1890.
