29. John⁶ Triplett I (William⁵, William⁴, Frances³, Frances², Francis¹) was born in Wilkes Co., NC 1788. John died Before 1880 in Probably Sullivan Co., MO.

He married twice. He married Martha McFarland in Adair Co., KY, July 27, 1809. Martha was born in Greene Co., TN 1791. Martha died About 1860 in Putnam Co., MO. Martha was the daughter of Benjamin and Ruth Jack McFarland.

He married Rosell Moore in Sullivan Co, MO., c 1870. Rosell was born 1791. John bought land in Adair Co., KY on Greasy Creek. Russell Co., KY was then taken from Adair Co and his land was then in Russell Co.

Seven children were born to John and Martha. After Martha died about 1860, John married a Rosell Moore and they had 2 children, a son named Henry and a daughter named Rosa. I have no records for Henry or Rosa.

John TriplettI and Martha McFarland had the following children:

37 i. William⁷ Triplett was born in Adair/Russel Co., KY c 1813. William died 1901 in Cascade, Montana. He married Nancy Scott in Russell Co., KY, August 6, 1834. Nancy was born in Russell Co., KY 1815. Nancy died By 1870 in Russell Co., KY. William and Nancy's first 3 children were born in Russell Co., KY. Then they moved to Putnam Co., MO. where 3 more children were born to them.
After Nancy died sometime before 1870, William went to Cedarville, AR with his son Joseph and other of his relatives. There he married a Mrs. Sarah Hensley March 17, 1890. No other mention of Sarah.
William went to Cascade, Montana where several of his children were living. He died at the home of his son Charles in Cascade, Montana and is buried in the Chestnut Valley Cemetery.

38 ii. Elizabeth Triplett was born in Adair Co., KY c 1816. She married William Beck in Adair Co., KY, March 1, 1837. Elizabeth Triplett and William Beck had 2 children born in Wayne Co., KY. Either William died, or they were divorced as Elizabeth remarried a Blake Richard Piercey c 1842 in Albany, Clinton Co., KY. Elizabeth's 2 children with husband Beck was then raised by her parents. She and husband Piercey had 6 children.
I have no record showing where or when Elizabeth or Blake Piercey died. However, I do show their children's names and spouses if anyone needs them.

39 iii. Ruth B. Triplett was born in Adair Co., KY c 1817. Ruth died Sometime after 1880 in Jasper, Crawford Co., AR. She married John Flanigan in Russell Co., KY, October 3, 1833. John died September of 1869 in Jasper, Crawford Co., AR. \i0 John's parents or date of birth are not known. He was a Minister and a shoemaker. Ruth and John had 13 children. Eight of the children were born in Russell Co., KY. The last 5 children were born in Hartford, Putnam Co., MO.
Ruth and John moved to Crawford Co., AR in 1868.

+ 40 iv. John TriplettII was born December 10, 1820.

41 v. Lewis Triplett was born in Adair Co., KY c 1822. Lewis died c 1900 in Columbia, KY. He married Frances A. Murrell in Columbia, KY, November 29, 1844. Frances was born in Adair Co., KY September 22, 1829. Frances died August 5, 1884 in Columbia, KY, at 54 years of age. Lewis was a dentist and a saddle maker. When his parents moved to Putnam Co., MO, he did not go with them as his business and family was already established in Columbia, KY.
Lewis and Frances had 9 children all born in Columbia, KY. Names are available.

42 vi. Benjamin Triplett was born in Adair Co., KY December 25, 1825. Benjamin died July 4, 1913 in Dayton, Washington, at 87 years of age. He married twice. He married Elzina Yates in Russell Co., KY, December 2, 1844. Elzina died 1862 in Kentucky. He married Margaret McGill in Putnam Co., MO, February 23, 1864. Margaret was born in Putnam Co., MO September 30, 1842. Margaret died January 9, 1923 in Dayton, Washington, at 80 years of age. Margaret was the daughter of Tony and Polly McGill. After Benjamin's wife Elzina died in 1862 in Kentucky, he moved to Putnam Co., MO and served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He later received a pension.
Benjamin and Elzina had 6 children all born in Russell Co., KY.
Benjamin and 2nd wife Margaret had 3 children all born in Putnam Co., MO.

43 vii. Milton Triplett was born in Russell Co., KY April 14, 1832. Milton died May 29, 1925 in Alma, Arkansas, at 93 years of age. He married Sarah Ann Mahalfy in Putnam Co., MO, December 26, 1894. Sarah was born in TN September 29, 1843. Sarah died September 19, 1914 in Alma, Arkansas, at 70 years of age. Milton joined the Union forces during the Civil War and later received a pension.
After his wife's death in 1914, his neice Eliza Triplett lived with him and cared for him until his death.
There were no children.

44 viii. Mary Triplett was born in Russell Co., KY October 10, 1833. Mary died November 23, 1920 in Columbia, KY, at 87 years of age. She married Sidney Dunbar in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, May 28, 1863. Sidney was born in Adair Co., KY March 18, 1808. Sidney died March 14, 1889 in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at 80 years of age. Mary and Sidney had 6 children all born in Columbia, KY.
