8. William⁴ Triplett I (Frances³, Frances², Francis¹) was born in Prince William Co., VA c 1730. William died c 1782 in Serving in the Revolutionary War.

He married Eleanor Harbin in Loudoun Co., VA, c 1758.

William TriplettI and Eleanor Harbin had the following children:

17 i. Micajah⁵ Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1759. Micajah died Died serving in Revolutionary War.

18 ii. Nimrod Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1760. Nimrod died Died serving in the Revolutionary War.

19 iii. Mason Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1762. Mason died Before 1806 in Wilkes Co., NC. He married Mary Mullins in Wilkes Co., NC, March 28, 1785. Mason and Mary had 5 children, all being born in Wilkes Co., NC.

+ 20 iv. William TriplettII was born November 15, 1763.

21 v. Thomas Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1765. Thomas died c 1850 in Wilkes Co., NC. He married Jane Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC, February 25, 1788. Jane was born in Virginia c 1770. Jane died Before 1850 in Wilkes Co., NC. Thomas and Jane had 11 children, all born in Wilkes Co., NC.
His Will was probated in August of 1851 in Wilkes Co., NC.

22 vi. Frances Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1767. She married Jeremiah Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC, March 17, 1787. I have no further information on Frances and Jeremiah.

23 vii. John Triplett was born in Loudoun Co., VA c 1771. He married Linda Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC, February 26, 1795. John and Linda may have only had 1 child...a son named Lewis born c. 1796 who married a Prudence Roberts. Lewis and Prudence had 6 children.
Lewis and his family moved to McMinn Co., TN sometime before 1839.

24 viii. Verlinda Triplett was born in Orange Co., NC c 1775. Verlinda died Between 1850 and 1860 in Wilkes Co, NC. She married Richard Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC, c 1789. \i0 Richard is shown on the 1850 Wilkes Co., NC census as being 84 years of age. He does not appear in the 1860 census.
His parents are not known. Verlinda and Richard had 14 children born in Wilkes Co., NC. Richard's first recorded land entry was for 50 acres, dated November 1, 1799. Richard's land was situated just to the East of his brother, Tom Ferguson.
Richard and Verlinda are reportedly buried in the Ferguson Family Cemetery on what was land owned by Tom Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC.

25 ix. Nancy Triplett was born in Orange Co., NC c 1776. She married John Sanders in Wilkes Co., NC, February 22, 1797. John was born in Wilkes Co., NC c 1772. John died c 1862 in Adair Co., KY. \i0 John was the son of Robert and Ann Sanders. Nancy and John had 4 children born while living in Wilkes Co., NC. Then they moved, along with her brother William and his family, to Adair Co., KY. In Kentucky, Nancy and John had 6 more children born.
No information on when Nancy died, however, John appeared in the Adair Co., KY Tax Lists until 1825. He was around 90 years old when he died.

26 x. Jesse Triplett was born in Either Orange or Wilkes Co., NC c 1777. Jesse died `c 1875 in Wilkes Co., NC. He married Dicie Gray in Wilkes Co., NC, c 1801. Dicie was born in Wilkes Co., NC 1787. Dicie died Sometime in 1855 in Wilkes Co., NC. Jesse and Dicie were the parents of about 10 children, all being born in Wilkes Co., NC.
Both Jesse and Dicie are buried in the old Mt. Zion Cemetery in Wilkes Co., NC.

27 xi. Priscilla Triplett was born in Probably Wilkes Co., NC c 1780??. She married John B. Ferguson in Wilkes Co., NC., December 19, 1804. John was born in Virginia July 25, 1778. \i0 John was the son of John Ferguson and Frances Triplett Ferguson. He inherited his father's farm on Stony Fork in Wilkes Co., NC.
He was buried on the family farm. Priscilla and John lived on a farm that John had inherited from his father on Stony Fork. Most of the family was apparently buried in a plot on this farm and most graves have been lost.
Priscilla and John had 13 children. Some information for these children available.
Not aware of when Priscilla died.
